Aviation Adventures Flight School

HOME OF THE BANTAM B22J

FOR ALL YOUR FLIGHT TRAINING NEEDS

National Pilots Licence (NPL)
Private Pilots Licence (PPL)
Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)

Widen your horizons – it’s never too late to achieve your dream, and soar above the beautiful valleys and mountains of Mpumalanga. Aviation Adventures Flight School located at Nelspruit Airport offers microlight licenses and PPL licenses under professional instruction. Due to popular demand the school has Bantam three axis aircraft, as well as various others for training purposes. The school will however train on almost any three axis aircraft, inclusive of light aircraft.

We are also proud to announce that we have added PPL (Private Pilot Licenses) to our training which in turn will allow us to help Pilots achieve their CPL (Commercial Pilots Licenses). We have helped a number of Pilots with their CPL and ALTP exams and on demand will run ground schools for this purpose. We have been responsible for most of the local NTCA and Bantam training that has taken place as well as the Instructor conversions on Bantams in the outlying areas, being the preferred School for Bantam training, our instructors having over 6000 hour experience between them on Bantams alone. Although we have trained PPL under other Licenses previously we are now able to offer all the flight training services under our own Banner – Aviation Adventures Flight School.

Our data base of expiry dates for licenses, authority’s to fly etc. has grown to quite an extent. There are however still Pilots not on the data base who are forgetting to renew expired licenses, If you are one of those we urge you to please send us all you particulars and an effort will be made to remind all involved. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers who have supported us over the last 10 years and look forward to many more years together.

Courses (microlight)

Minimum requirement for the Microlight course is 25 hours  – 10 hours dual and 15 hours solo (includes 5 hours cross country) to complete a Licence. To fly a microlight you need to obtain a Microlight Pilot’s Licence from RAASA (Recreational Aviation Administration of South Africa). They have specific legal requirements:
